Performing a search

When you perform a search, the system attempts to locate your search text in the documents’ contents and (depending on your implementation) may also search for it in the document IDs.

If the auto-complete feature is enabled, as you start typing if the system finds previously matching queries, a list of suggestions is displayed. You can select one using the mouse or arrow keys.

Note:   When you enter a query that has not been used before, it will appear in future suggestions; however, it will not appear immediately as there is some processing delay.

Important:  Stemming is not available for the languages with basic support.
