Adaptive Navigation
Adaptive Navigation refines your search so that you can arrive at the most likely solution to an issue quickly and easily.
If Adaptive Navigation is enabled, the Adaptive Navigation tab appears after a search is performed. To use Adaptive Navigation, either click the tab or, if Adaptive Navigation Category is configured for the Microsite search, click an Adaptive Navigation concept on the Search Results tab.
Adaptive Navigation is a sequence of steps that guide you to the solution. Each step helps you make your search more specific, and may include one or more of the following:
- This is what I know—A transcript that shows your search text and the selections you have made in the previous steps.
- Picklists—One or more lists of the concepts that are most closely related to your issue, such as a list of Products or Document Types that you can select to make your search more focused.
- Solutions found so far—A list of possible solutions, based on the information you have provided up to this point.
- Refine your question—An area in which you can provide a more detailed description of your issue by making selections from filters.
