An oFAxx fault will be displayed when an error has occured regarding the option card connected to the CN5-A port on the control board.

Follow the steps below when troubleshooting oFAxx faults:

1. Remove power to the drive and wait at least 15 minutes to allow the capacitors to discharge.
   • Caution: It is recommended to verify 10VDC or less is present on the DC bus before performing any service work.
2. Remove the option card connected to the CN5-A port on the control board.
3. Inspect the option card checking for physical damage, burn marks, corrosion, etc. Replace option card as necessary.
4. Install the option card back onto the CN5-A port on the control board.
   • If the oFAxx fault is still occurring, replace the option card.
   • If the oFAxx fault is occurring randomly, check and eliminate any electrical noise on the network (e.g. use shielded cable).
   • If the oFAxx fault is still occurring after replacing the option card, replace the control board on the drive.
