Setting up LonWorks on a 7 Series Drive |

Certain parameters must be set correctly when using the CM048 LonWorks option card on a 7 Series drive. |

Since the LonWorks (CM048) option utilizes the RS-485 connection to the drive, it is necessary to set the termination resistor to the ON position on each drive’s terminal assembly. Connect the LonWorks option communication cable to the drive as shown below and set the termination switch on
Programming Set the parameters to the value according to the table below: Note: It is required to cycle power to the drive after changing any network communications settings.
1 Only set if start/stop (b1-02) and frequency (b1-01) control are desired via LonWorks communication. |
