J1000 drives have the capability of connecting to a PC for use with DriveWizard Industrial software.

Note: J1000 drives do not have a USB or RJ-45 serial port for a direct connection to a PC.

When connecting J1000 drives to a PC for use with DriveWizard software, there are two additional components which are required.

1)  RS-232 Interface Card

• Use option card part # SI-232/J or SI-232/JC which attaches to the face of the drive.
• Refer to document (if necessary): Difference Between J1000 Options SI-232/J and SI-232/JC.

2)  Serial Cable

• Use cable part # UWR00468-2 for a standard connection (read/write parameters) to a PC.
• Refer to document (if necessary): Difference Between PC Communications, Flash Cables, and Mobile Device Interface Cables.
