Gateway Mode Wiring and Programming for GA800, GA500, and HV600 Drives |

Using only one separate communication option card, GA800, GA500, and HV600 drives can communicate with and control other drives through the built-in, Modbus RS-485 communications. This is referred to as Gateway Mode. Note: A total of 5 drives (one master and four slaves) can be connected to the RS-485 field bus network. |

The data that can be transmitted to the slave drives through the master drive using Gateway Mode on GA800, GA500 and HV600 drives is as follows:
Wiring Wire the drives according to the diagram below using the RS-485 terminals D+ and D- with AC being the signal ground.
