Using a Remote Keypad on V1000 or iQpump Micro Drives
Topic Description
When using an optional, remote keypad (digital operator) with the V1000 (Non NEMA 4X) or iQpump Micro drive (Non NEMA 4X), the original keypad can be left in place or removed if desired. Refer to the table below as a reference for the part numbers for both the standard, LED keypads and optional keypads used with V1000 and iQpump Micro drives.
 
If the original keypad is removed, the drive may not run when a command is given and RUN (V1000) or AUTO (iQpump Micro) light will start blinking.

Resolution
  • If the original keypad is NOT going to be removed, no parameters changes are needed. 
  • If the original keypad is removed, before removing the original keypad, set o2-02 = 0 and verify or set  b1-02 ≠ 0. Then, the original keypad can be removed and remote keypad inserted. Unfortunately the run command can't be coming from the keypad in remote.  
Note: The parameter b1-02 = 0 is set by default on iQpump Micro drives.
