The safety function or Hard Wire Base Block function (HBB) is designed to baseblock or shut off the motor current using the internal hardwired circuits connected to CN8. When there is a requirement to configure the safety function with multiple Sigma 5 SERVOPACKs, the safety function of Sigma 5 SERVOPACKs can be used with interlocking multiple drives so that all drives would display HBB when at least one of them has the safety input open. The SERVOPACK does not need to be enabled for the safety input to open and cause HBB to occur.

The safety should be wired in series so that safety protection is through all the devices that are requiring to be stopped in the event of a safety condition.

This cable is sold in length from 0.45, and 1-12 meters. The "03" in the part number CVH03-03(A)-E represents the length and can be changed for the required length. A45 is the 0.45M cable.
