Replacing the Control Board on Z1000 Drives (with Video)
Topic Description

It is possible to replace the control board on a stand-alone Z1000 drive. The control board part numbers are listed below:

CIMR-ZU2A0075FAA or larger

Resolution

Refer to the video below when replacing the control board on a stand-alone Z1000 drive. After the control board has been replaced, follow the steps below for programming:

  1. Set the proper kVA code in parameter o2-04. Refer to the document: Setting the Proper kVA Code for OPE01 Fault on a Z1000 Drive
  2. Re-initialize the drive by setting parameter A1-03 to a required value.
    • Note: Typically, A1-03 is set to "2220" for a 2-wire start/stop.
  3. Set any other user parameters in the Programming menu or perform a Copy Keypad function. Refer to document: Performing a Copy Function Using the Keypad to Transfer Parameters from One Drive to Another
