Connecting Safe Disable Input Contacts to Multiple A1000 or V1000 Drives |

The safe disable inputs (H1, H2, HC) on A1000 and V1000 drives provide a stop function that complies with "Safe Torque Off" as specified by IEC/EN 61800-5-2:2007. Typically, these are used as an emergency stop function in which the drive will immediately stop outputting to the motor. It may be desired to connect multiple drives to a single safety circuit using the safe disable inputs. |

Using the Drive's Internal Power Supply It is NOT recommended to wire multiple drives together using their internal power supply. Doing so will damage the safe disable safety circuit due to overloading the internal 24 VDC circuitry. Using an External Power Supply
