Performing a Copy Function when Using a V1000 or J1000 Drive
Topic Description

The V1000 and J1000 drives are capable of saving parameters to an external keypad and then transferring them to a different drive.

Note: The built-in LED keypad supplied with these drives do NOT support this procedure as the built-in keypad can not be disconnected.

Resolution

A remote keypad or USB Copy Unit (Y-stick) must be used when performing a copy keypad function on V1000 or J1000 drives. These have memory capabilities, which are required when performing this function.

Note: The J1000 requires the RS232C Interface, SI-232/JC option card to use either of these methods.

The following are part #'s which can be used to perform the copy keypad function:

  • JVOP-180 - LCD Operator (V1000 ONLY)
  • JVOP-182 - LED Operator (Both V1000 & J1000)
  • JVOP-181 - Y-Stick or USB Copy Unit (Both V1000 & J1000)
