The digital input terminal logic on most Yaskawa drives can be changed from sinking mode (0V common) to sourcing mode (+24V common) or vice versa by configuring terminals SN, SC, and SP. The following digital input configurations are possible:

• Sinking Mode with the internal power supply (factory default)
• Sinking Mode with an external 24VDC power supply
• Sourcing Mode with the internal power supply
• Sourcing Mode with an external 24VDC power supply
